CrossReel is built to ask for the minimum. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across apps or websites. This policy explains what information we handle and why.
CrossReel ("we", "the app") is a service operated by Fabrizio Lamanna that, from a link to a short video you share (TikTok, Instagram or YouTube Shorts), tries to find the same video on another platform. For any privacy question, contact us at support@crossreel.net.
| Links you share | The video URL (TikTok/Instagram/YouTube) you send to convert. We use it only to run the search and cache it briefly to speed up repeat requests. |
| Device identifier | An anonymous, random identifier generated on your device (not tied to your identity) used to count the free daily limit. |
| IP address | Processed transiently to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests. We don't store it permanently linked to your activity. |
| Account data (optional) | If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a stable identifier, your email and your name (if Apple/Google share them). We use them to tie your limit and plan to your account across devices. |
| Subscription data | Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store; we never see your payment method. We use RevenueCat to validate receipts and know whether your Pro plan is active. |
| Integrity signals | To prevent automated abuse, the app may send a device-integrity token (Apple App Attest / Google Play Integrity). It contains no personal information. |
| History (on your device only) | Your conversion history is stored only locally on your phone and is never sent to our servers. It's limited to the last 90 days. |
We do not use your data for advertising, nor combine it with third-party data for profiling.

Cached links and results are kept for short periods (hours to a few days) and then deleted automatically. Your account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete account), which erases your account data and revokes Sign in with Apple access.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR in the EU or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. The fastest way to exercise deletion is to delete your account from the app. For any other request, write to support@crossreel.net.
CrossReel is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and minimize the data we handle. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect precisely to reduce risk.
We may update this policy. We'll post the current version on this page with the "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
